Star Wars Veteran Mark Hamill Is Throwing His Support Behind A Campaign To Allow A Terminally-ill Fan To See The New Movie Early After The 32 Year Old Was Given Just Weeks To Live.
Daniel Fleetwood, from Houston, Texas is battling a rare form of cancer, and was told in July (15) he would be dead within two months.
He is a lifelong Star Wars fan, so his friends and family launched a campaign urging bosses behind the franchise to let him see the new sci-fi film prior to its release in December (15).
Mark, who reprises his role as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens, has now backed the drive along with one of the film's young stars, John Boyega, by sharing a tweet in support of Daniel.
They both retweeted a message which reads, "A dying man's wish to see #StarWars The Force Awakens. Help spread the word: #ForceForDaniel."
