Star Wars actor David Prowse is urging men aged over 50 to undergo tests for prostate cancer - after he stunned doctors by beating the disease.
Prowse, who played Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy, spoke of his illness in March last year (09), revealing he was undergoing radiotherapy treatment in London.
Now he has confirmed he is clear of the disease - and wants older men to receive regular tests to detect the early signs of prostate cancer.
Prowse says, "I've won the fight and I'm feeling better than ever. Everyone was shocked by how well it all went."
