This year, though, organisers have decided to reach a different kind of audience by holding the concert on the holy grounds of the most legendary rock festival in history - Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. It will debut in the US on Memorial Day weekend from May 23rd - 26th 2014 and we're expecting a memorable line-up to match.

Cat Power has informed her fans, that her European tour will still go ahead, despite the news that she is suffering financial and health difficulties. She told her fans "European Tour Is On. Without Stage Presentation. Hard Money Wasted." It is thought that she is planning a stripped-down version of her show for the tour, which will include her first London show in four years.

Katy Perry has been accused of 'sexualising children' by the indie-dance band Crystal Castles. The band's singer, Alice Glass, told NME magazine "I think a lot of (pop stars) sell sex to children. I think a lot of kids are more sexualised now than they were years ago and I'm not sure it's a coincidence. Like f**king Katy Perry spraying people with her f**king d**k, her f**king c** gun c**ming on f**king children. And little girls, like six-year-old girls wearing a shirt with 'I wanna see your (pea) cock' on it."

Steve Aoki, Interview

Interview with Steve Aoki

Steve Aoki is certainly one of the busiest men in music today. Not only does he DJ, produce and remix tracks around the world, he heads up Dim Mak records, plays in a band and has his own successful clothing line. Currently in the middle of a European tour, Contactmusic.com caught up with him on one of his flying visits to London at the Ministry Of Sound Headquarters. He spoke about his many different projects, his roots in punk and hardcore music, the diversity of his upcoming album and the future of dance music. We also quizzed him about his new single, I'm In The House which is released this week and see him collaborate with the 'mysterious' Zuper Blahq. Here's what he had to say.

Steve Aoki - I'm In The House featuring [[zuper blahq]]]

I'm In The House video from Steve Aoki featuring [[zuper blahq]]]

I'm In The House featuring [[zuper blahq]]] is Steve Aoki's debut single. Though Mr Aoki hasn't released any of his own material, he's no stranger on the music scene, in fact between his record label Dim Mak Records -who signed the likes of Bloc Party, Gossip, Klaxons, MSTRKRFT - and creating some monster mix tapes, it's a surprise it's taken him so long to produce this record.
Following on from mix tapes like 'Pillowface & His Airplane Chronicles' Steve Aoki is set to release his full-length debut album in spring 2010.
