Robert Irwin, the 13-year-old son of the late Steve Irwin sent viewers wild on 'The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon' on Thursday, as he continued his father’s legacy.

The teen is just as enthusiastic about animals as his late father and brought with him a dwarf crocodile, a screaming armadillo a red-tailed boa constrictor snake and an adorable sloth, to meet the talk show host.

Listening to the 13-year-old speak about his love for animals, Fallon told him: “This is so cool to see you like this. You’re actually your dad.” Despite being just 13, Robert is already following in his father’s footsteps.

“My dad was actually on The Tonight Show quite a while ago,” Robert told Jimmy. “So it’s really nice to be able to follow in his footsteps. It’s really great.” Robert grew up with sister Bindi surrounded by animals at Australia Zoo and feels like the “luckiest kid on planet earth” because of the experience.

Of course, Robert brought with him a host of exotic animals to meet Jimmy, most of which the talk show host was initially scared to get close to. The first was an African dwarf crocodile, named Beetlejuice, which the teen said his father described as “frogs with sharp teeth.”

Next was Mickey, a screaming armadillo, who made a noise resembling a car alarm when tickled. Robert then brought out a huge red-tailed boa constrictor snake named Lady, who Jimmy wasn’t eager to make friends with. The final surprise Robert had for Jimmy was Serenity, an adorable 25 pound sloth who loves cuddles.

Following Robert’s appearance on the show his sister Bindi took to Instagram to share her pride. “Tears in my eyes,” the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ winner wrote. “So proud of@robertirwinphotography. You are more and more like Dad every day. I'm forever thankful to be your sister.”
