Steve Martin And Lily Tomlin's Hit 1984 Comedy All Of Me Has Become The Latest Movie To Be Adapted For An Upcoming Tv Series.
The body-swapping film, directed by Carl Reiner, will serve as the inspiration for a new small screen project developed by officials at America's NBC network, reports Deadline.com.
Betsy Thomas has been tapped to write and executive produce the show, which was based on Edwin Davis' novel Me Two.
Previous attempts to remake All of Me as a movie have failed to come to fruition over the years - studio executives at New Line once eyed Martin's Bringing Down the House co-star Queen Latifah for a leading role, while bosses at Steven Spielberg's DreamWorks Studios also announced plans to revamp the feaure in 2012.
Other films heading to TV as new series include Cruel Intentions, The Notebook, Training Day and Lethal Weapon.
