In one of the more intriguing bookings for this year's SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, Stevie Nicks has been announced as taking part in a very special event at the Austin Convention Center on Thursday, March 14, 2013.

The enigmatic Fleetwood Mac frontwoman, who's since forged a hugely successful solo career, will sit down for a discussion about her most memorable years in the music business.

It's shaping up to be a busy year for Nicks, who is the subject of new documentary 'In Your Dreams' - which screens at the festival - focusing on her latest album of the same name. She features in Dave Grohl's SXSW Keynote documentary 'Sound City' about the famed Los Angeles studio and will later this year embark on a huge sold-out world tour with Fleetwood Mac.

It's the latest chapter in the life of Nicks, a remarkable singer, songwriter and rock luminary who continues to evolve. The SXSW interview, which closes out the day's conference activities, is likely to represent one of the festival's highlight moments and all festivalgoers bearing Music and Platinum badges as well as Artist Wristbands are invited.

Released back in May 2011, 'In Your Dreams' is the seventh studio album by Nicks and her first since 2001's 'Trouble In Shangri-La.' It debuted at No.6 on the Billboard 200 and No.14 in the UK - her fourth Top 20 record there. The album has since been certified Gold, selling in excess of 500,000 copies worldwide.
