British rockers the Stone Roses have fuelled rumours they are planning to release new material by refusing to deny a report suggesting an album is slated for 2015.

The Fools Gold hitmakers reformed last year (12) for a live tour, including three huge homecoming shows in Manchester, England but they have not unveiled any new music since the reunion.

Bassist Gary 'Mani' Mounfield sparked speculation the band is eyeing a 2015 release by telling website Gigslutz, "Yeah we've been working on a few bits... 2015 man, 2015!"

But a spokesman for the group has declined to confirm or deny the date, telling, "No comment."
