Alvin Stardust is planning to make a comeback by releasing his first album in 30 years.

The veteran British pop star is hoping to return to the charts in November (14) with his new album Alvin, three decades after his last record I Feel Like... back in 1984.

A statement posted on his official website reads, "I am extremely delighted to announce that my new album is now finished and will be released at the beginning of November by Conehead Records.
Alvin is a new and exciting departure for me and I'm immensly (sic) proud of the finished product."

Stardust, 72, has been largely absent from the entertainment industry since the 1980s.
