Sylvester Stallone has made his feelings towards Bruce Willis crystal clear after tweeting about Expendables 3. The Rocky actor confirmed that Harrison Ford would be joining the Expendables cast, replacing Willis.

Stallone described Bruce Willis as "greedy and "lazy" on Twitter shortly after confirming Harrison Ford will be replacing Willis in Expendables 3. In his first Tweet, Stallone claimed he'd "been waiting for years" for the news that "Willis out" and "Harrison in".

Stallone later claimed Willis' decision indicated "career failure" and he was motivated by greed and laziness. Stallone's representatives, speaking to the Huffington Post, have confirmed the tweets -posted on Tuesday 6th August- are indeed about Willis.

Willis starred in the first two Expendables films alongside Stallone and the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Jet Li and Chuck Norris. The upcoming Expendables film, due to start filming later this month, is thought to star Jackie Chan, Wesley Snipes and Mel Gibson (according to the Huffington Post).

Stallone's casting news has not been confirmed by Lionsgate Studios who produce the film, nor have they commented on the nature of Willis' departure from the film franchise. However, it can safely be assumed Stallone and Willis aren't exactly the best of friends at the moment.

Expendables 3 is due out in US cinemas on 15th November 2014.
