Actor, comedian and writer Taylor Negron has died at the age of 57 after a long battle with cancer.

The news of Negron's passing was confirmed by his cousin, Chuck Negron, in a video posted online as Deadline reports. "I want to inform you that my cousin Taylor Negron just passed away. His mother, his brother Alex and my brother Rene and his wife Julie were all there with him. May he rest in peace," Chuck said.

Negron appeared in a number of films and television series during the course of his 36 year career. His best known film roles were in Fast Times at Ridgemont High as Mr Pizza Guy, Easy Money as Rodney Dangerfield's son-in-law, and The Last Boy Scout as the villain Milo. He regularly appeared in numerous television shows including Falcon Crest, Hope & Gloria and Encyclopaedia Brown. Negron also had bit parts in such shows as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Curb Your Enthusiasm

A number of Negron's celebrity fans have mourned his passing on social media including: Planes voice actor Dane Cook, Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet, comedians Jill Soloway and Patton Oswalt and The Karate Kid actor William Kabka. 

All mourned his loss and greatly admired his talent. The general sentiment of Negron's celebrity friends and fans is summed up by Cook and Stonestreet's tweets. "Always a terriice addition to any cast he worked with or show he performed on," Cook wrote. Whilst Stonestreet stated he "admired Taylor Negron very much" and further described him as "a funny man."
