Taylor Swift can put no foot wrong it seems, as her album sells outrageously quickly, and now she has been picked to host the Grammy nominations, from her home town, Nashville, which is also the hometown of country music.

She will join LL Cool J in the announcements, as well as Maroon 5 and Luke Bryan who will both be performing at the show, and plenty of more performers will be announced a later date. Swift and LL Cool J will release the nominations in the main categories on December 5th, ahead of the main show that will be aired in February 2013. Swift's participation helps mark the Grammys' own celebration of her predominant genre of country music, according to Reuters.

Taylor Swift is already the recipient of 6 Grammys, a number which may be increased next year. She's currently on a massive promotional tour in aid of her latest album 'Red'. As part of her promotions, the Mirror reports that she has been getting closer and closer to Ed Sheeran who will be touring with her in next year's mammoth 58 day tour of the US. If these rumours are true, that may be the quickest relationship turnaround in history, as she has only just broken up with her most recent boyfriend, 18-year-old Connor Kennedy.
