Taylor Swift never wants to change who she is ''for the sake of a relationship''.

The 'Bad Blood' hitmaker - who is dating Scottish DJ Calvin Harris - insists she would never act differently to the way she is around her friends with a boyfriend.

Asked if it matters to her whether or not her friends - who famously include Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid - get on with her boyfriend, she said: ''SO IMPORTANT. Oh, it's so important. In every friendship group, you've got one or two girls where you hear people say, 'Oh, she's so different around her boyfriend!' I never wanted to be that girl. So that was a huge goal of mine: never become someone else for the sake of a relationship.''

The 25-year-old star - whose ex-boyfriends include 'Southpaw' actor Jake Gyllenhaal, One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles and Joe Jonas - claims she and her pals are so close that they don't mind if they date each other's former flames.

She told Vanity Fair magazine: ''My friends and I text every day. Being a huge group of girls who love each other, we know where everyone is.

''I've never had this before.''
