Terri Walker comes with the track that should have been the first single. “This is My Time” is an absolute classic, that would have set the album up very nicely, but in truth because of the chosen lead single this will probably struggle to get the airplay it merits. This track has everything it is classy, but it has a real cutting edge and the appeal that would get the masses jumping as well, if it got the airplay support. Terri’s talent is

un-questionable the plot behind her and the album in general is more than questionable. This should have been a slow build on this album, after all Jamelia didn’t become a “Superstar” over night and had they actually started with a soulful single as to pop pulp the fan base would have bought it and album sales would have come with it similar to Amy Winehouse. But sadly in the day and age of the microwave, we expect everything to happen in seconds and minutes, not months and years. The label thought it best to go for the pop jugular oh how I bet they wish they could do it all again in hindsight.
