Listen To The 1975'S New Single 'Chocolate'

The 1975 announce UK tour and new EP "Music For Cars" out 4th March on Dirty Hit

Hotly-tipped The 1975 are set to release new single Chocolate through Dirty Hit on Monday 4th March.

Taken from their Music For Cars EP, "Chocolate" follows in the footsteps of their two acclaimed EPs Facedown and Sex. It's a single that perfectly encapsulates the band's signature hybrid sound of alternative rock, pop, R&B and modern soul. Proving that this Mancunian four-piece is ever bold in pushing past sonic boundaries and are so much more than the sum of their parts. With Chocolate, The 1975's pop swagger and vigour comes to the fore with the track's syncopated, propulsive beats and day-dreaming guitar riffs. A future alternative anthem in the making.

Currently holed up in a studio working on new material, The 1975's debut album will be co-produced by the band and the award-winning Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys, Foals). With this single already making (radio)waves, the full-length promises to be an affair of enormous proportions.

The 1975 has also announced 24 dates following a sold out tour last year. They will play the below dates ahead of their appearance at this year's SXSW.

"Chocolate" is streaming on Soundcloud here:
