Change My Mind
The Blueskins' single, Change My Mind, will be re-released by Domino on 16th October. The track, which features on the band's debut album, Word Of Mouth, has become an indie club hit since it was used on the recent Lynx advert.
A slide guitar driven frenzy with a gospel tinged chorus and Ryan Spendlove's trademark rasping vocal, the song has long been a favourite amongst the band's fan base and a stand out at gigs.
The Blueskins are recording tracks for their second album, due next year. Some sessions have taken place in the band's native Yorkshire with an additional session in Clarksdale, Mississippi with Dennis Herring, who has produced Elvis Costello, Modest Mouse and Sparklehorse amongst others. Whilst they were there, the band visited the crossroads in Clarksdale where Robert Johnson infamously sold his soul to the devil.
