Ask anyone to name a song by The Cardigans and the chances are that a high majority will answer "Love Fool", the luscious 1997 single that was narrowly denied from being top of the charts. Nearly a decade on, it's fair to say the Swedish rockers have failed to repeat that commercial success, with only one other top ten entry in the UK. Along the way, gorgeous lead singer Nina Persson has also had a side-project – A Camp – but The Cardigans are now back with a new album, "Super Extra Gravity."

"I Need Some Fine Wine And You, You Need To Be Nicer" is hardly the catchiest of track titles, but don't let that put you off. Opening with what sounds like a jamming session and Persson speaking as if training a dog, this song is a catchy and upbeat slice of rock. On first listen it may seem uninspired, but the alluring vocals and smooth melody soon grab you in… and refuse to let go. It probably won't get anywhere near the exposure it deserves, but it's still a welcome return from The Cardigans.
