'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' bosses are terrified they will lose more viewers following The Departure of Joe Bugner.

The show lost two million of its audience overnight following Katie Price's decision to quit the camp last week and after the boxing legend was forced to leave after a Bushtucker Trial showdown with Stuart Manning, show chiefs are worried even more people will switch off.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Joe leaving was the last thing bosses wanted. He has been the centre of attention and has helped to create quite a few arguments. Stuart's a nice guy but seriously dull.

"They can't have the interesting people picked off. Ratings might tumble even further."

Things could get even worse for the show after George Hamilton admitted he is thinking of quitting, as he believes winning the contest would be a better career boost for the younger contestants.

He said: "There are other people starting careers. I'm at a point where this is fun to do. I'm not going to go head-to-head, so I'm thinking about leaving.

"At my age, the time I have with people I care about is important. I don't see a purpose here for me to stay."

Show bosses admitted they don't want the 70-year-old star to leave. An insider said: "At this stage people often say they've had enough. We don't want to see him go."
