The Drums' new single, 'How It Ended', will be released on October 31st 2011, through Moshi Moshi/Island. It is the second single from their second album, 'Portamento', following the highly successful first single, 'Money'. The band has announced a UK tour, starting at the end of November and continuing into December.
The video for How It Ended was directed by Patrick Roberts. It sees lead singer and frontman Jonny wandering around streets in New York and London, doing a spot of window shopping and generally pondering the issues raised in the delicate and highly personal song. The scenes in London were shot when the band were performing three intimate, sold out concerts in the city recently.
The Drums are: Jonny Pierce (vocals); Jacob Graham (synths) and Connor Hanwick (guitar). In addition to music videos, The Drums have started uploading their own web series, 'Visiomento' on their personal Youtube account, with new episodes released every Tuesday.
