The rockers' band, also featuring Alex Levine and Benny Horowitz, announced plans for an indefinite hiatus following their European tour in August (15).

During the group's tenure, Fallon worked with several musicians on various side projects, including The Horrible Crowes' album Elsie, and, in 2013, he formed Molly and the Zombies with Plow United frontman Brian MCGee, former Ryan Adams and the Cardinals bassist Catherine Popper and Scissor Sisters drummer Randy Schrager.

Now he is teaming up with producer Butch Walker, who has worked with Taylor Swift, Fall Out Boy and Keith Urban, to record Painkillers, and he will tour with Rosamilia, the Horrible Crowes' Ian Perkins and Popper in support of the album. The tour kicks off on 7 January (16) in Portland, Maine.
