The Kooks Naïve Single

Life in The Kooks must be pretty sweet at the moment, their debut album "Inside In/Inside Out" has been very well received by the press & public alike, and in turn their fan base has already made their scheduled May tour a complete sell out. Add to this that they'll be playing T In The Park, Isle Of Wight, and Oxygen festivals in the Summer, and it seems there'll be no let up in momentum from the band.

The forth single to be taken from their debut, "Naïve" is unmistakably the sound of The Kooks, from the quirky guitars to the distinct vocals of Luke Pritchard. While not being the worst track on their record, it also isn't the best – it lacks the same kind of great hook, on previous release "You Don't Love Me", their biggest hit to date. It's a decent track, that touches on some subjects quite close to Luke. I don't think Naïve is unlikely to win over too many new fans.
