Fact: The Omen franchise is set to return to the big screen and scare a whole new audience in a forthcoming prequel. Director Antonio Campos is in talks to take charge of The First Omen, which will detail the events leading up to the birth of demon child Damien in the original 1976 horror classic. The 40-year-old movie spawned two follow ups and a U.S. TV series, and was remade in 2006 with Liev Schreiber and Julia Stiles stepping into the roles made famous by Gregory Peck and Lee Remick.
Fact: Former child actor Harvey Stephens, who played the son of Satan in the original The Omen, will always have fond memories of Gregory Peck, who played his father in the horror classic - the late great actor sent him Christmas cards for years after they worked together.
