The Pixies rocker Frank Black has donated a massive $150,000 (£100,000) to help save legendary London venue The 100 Club, according to a U.K. report.
The tiny underground venue - which has seen the Rolling Stones and the Sex Pistols perform on its stage - is set to shut its doors for the last time at the end of the year (10) due to increased running costs and rising rental prices in central London.
Several rockers including Mick Jagger, Ray Davies and Mick Jones have all thrown their support behind a campaign to raise funds for the struggling club - and now Black has given the venue a huge boost by donating $150,000 towards the cause, according to Britain's The Sun.
The frontman reportedly asked for his donation to be kept anonymous.
