Review of Sunday Single by The View
The View return with 'Sunday', the new track which is available as a free download from their website. Set to give fans a little teaser of what is to come from their third album The Best Lasts Forever which will be released in Spring 2011.
At first glance it looks like Kyle Falconer and co have gone back to what made them likable in the first place, Sunday could quite easily be an album track on their debut release 'Hats Off To The Buskers' but there's a the underlying problem with Sunday as it appears something is missing from their original songwriting formula and with it, the edge has gone.
Let's hope The View save the best songs for the album and Sunday is merely a small blemish on what could be a very promising album.
