The Same Jeans rocker is accused of shouting homophobic abuse at a male crew member on a Jet2 flight between Reus, Spain and Glasgow, Scotland in June (16).

The case was called forward by officials at Paisley Sheriff Court in Scotland on Wednesday (21Sep16), but Falconer's lawyer Chris MCKenna called for an adjournment in proceedings in order to determine which country the alleged offence had occurred in.

According to Scotland's Daily Record newspaper, the motion for an adjournment went unopposed by prosecution lawyer David MCDonald and Sheriff John Herald postponed the hearing.

It is also alleged Falconer threatened passengers and armed himself with two bottles on a flight home from Spain before being hauled off the plane by French police after the aircraft made an emergency landing in Nantes, France. He then returned to Glasgow and was arrested by local police officers at the city's airport.

In July (16), the 29-year-old musician checked into a rehabilitation centre in Chiang Mai, Thailand in an attempt to mend his wild ways, postponing his wedding to fiancee Laura Fraser and forcing The View to cancel a number of tour dates, including gigs at the Reading and Leeds festivals in August (16).
