Fact: Rapper Method Man treated his wife to front row seats at a taping of America's The View on Tuesday (03Mar15) as part of her wedding anniversary gift. The Wu-Tang Clan star received a round of applause from the New York studio audience for accompanying his wife to her favourite female-focused talk show, which features actresses Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie Perez as panellists.

Fact: Comedienne ROSIE O'DONNELL introduced her baby daughter Dakota to fans on Thursday (12Feb15) as she bowed out of U.S. talk show The View, six months after re-joining the panel. The actress cradled the tot, with her estranged wife Michelle Rounds, at the end of Thursday's episode as she bid farewell to viewers and thanked show creator, veteran newswoman Barbara Walters, for always looking out for her "life and career". She then promised, "I'll come back and do the odd crafting segment." O'Donnell announced last week (06Feb15) she was divorcing Rounds and would be quitting the show to focus on her family. She previously served as a co-presenter on The View in 2006, but left in 2007.

Fact: Comedienne ROSIE O'DONNELL has officially been announced as a new co-host of U.S. talk show The View. The actress originally joined the daytime programme in 2006, but walked away from the project in May, 2007 after just one season as a panellist. However, she will be back for the new run of shows this autumn (14) following the departure of Jenny MCCarthy and Sherri Shepherd. Confirming the news in a Twitter.com post on Thursday (10Jul14), bosses at U.S. network ABC write, "It's official! Abc confirms Rosie O'Donnell returns as co-host of #TheView w/ (with) moderator Whoopi Goldberg for Season 18".
