Fact: Oscar-winning screenwriter Aaron Sorkin is revamping Harper Lee's iconic novel To Kill a Mockingbird for the Broadway stage. Sorkin, who started his career as a playwright, has put together a new stage adaptation of the classic story, which is set to open on the Great White Way during the 2017-18 season.
Fact: Literary classic To Kill a Mockingbird is set to be released electronically after reclusive author Harper Lee agreed to finally allow the 1960 book to be made available digitally. The writer, who has been fiercely protective of her intellectual property, made the announcement on her 88th birthday on Monday (28Apr14).
