Tokio Hotel rocker Tom Kaulitz has been fined for assaulting a female fan at a gas station in Germany last year (09).
The guitarist was accused of assaulting Perrine D. in April (09) following a heated argument in Hamburg.
Local reports claimed the woman had spotted Kaulitz as he sat in his car on the garage's forecourt and approached him to request a photograph.
But the 20 year old refused, and was caught on CCTV footage winding down the car window and appearing to throw a lit cigarette at the fan. The video then showed the woman pick up the cigarette butt and stub it out on the window, prompting Kaulitz to get out of the car and seemingly strike her, leaving her with a black eye.
Kaulitz fled the scene but police launched an investigation into the fan's allegations and he was charged with assault and wilful damage to property.
He appeared in court in Hamburg this week (ends26Feb10), when he was convicted and fined $1,360 (£850), reports Bild.de.
