Tom Felton, the British actor best known for playing Hogwarts villain Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies, is planning a career in the music industry. After completing work on the Potter franchise, Felton claims he is looking to begin writing and recording rap music, reports the UK's Sun newspaper.
The actor, who signed to independent record label Six String Productions in 2010, recently revealed, "I was thinking of doing some N-Dubz-style stuff. I am looking to get into the grime rap UK scene. I'm going to change my image - backward caps, the lot". Tom referred to N-Dubz frontman Dappy as an inspiration for the new project but gave little else away, saying, "It's still under wraps so I can't really talk about it". The 23-year-old is currently starring in the eighth and final Harry Potter movie, 'The Deathly Hallows: Part 2', which premiered in London last week. Despite his forthcoming musical project, Felton claims he will not be giving up his burgeoning acting career - he recently completed filming 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' and the horror movie 'The Apparition' with Ashley Greene.
Tom Felton began appearing in commercials at the age of 8. He later starred in 'The Borrowers' and 'Anna and the King' before being cast as the infamous Draco Malfoy in 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone'.
