The San Diego Comic-Con may be over but the buzz surrounding its contents is only just beginning. Showing teasers left, right and centre, the convention has set the scene for an exciting year of film.

Here are some of the best trailers from the event.

Mad Max rides into town

Before Comic-Con, there was a vague Mad Max question floating around the film world with no one quite able to pin it down and get a definitive answer. After Comic-Con, there is so much Mad Max information that people aren’t quite sure what to do with it.

Mad Max: Fury Road will be the fourth in the Mad Max franchise and is the first film in almost 30 years. It stars Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron and Nicholas Hoult and here is the trailer.

Hobbit Number Three

Peter Jackson has tested his audiences’ patience somewhat by creating three feature films out of a relatively small children’s book.

However, for those that have stuck with the first two Hobbits with the belief that eventually something will have to happen, it looks like that good faith has finally been rewarded.

Here, The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies explains all.

The City of Sin

Almost a decade later, Sin City fans are finally going to get their hands on the long-awaited sequel, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.

Over three minutes long, this teaser does not disappoint with guns, crossbows, swords, car chases, tough guys, tough girls and Bruce Willis’ ghost.

If this is just the trailer, just imagine the movie.

Our Leader the Mockingjay

When we left Katniss Everdeen she was in a spot of bother. Fighting for her life in the sadistic Capitol-controlled arena and part of a revolution plan she knew nothing about: things didn’t look too good.

In this trailer for the latest movie, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, it’s uncertain if things are going to get any better.

A Horn Above the Rest

Our very own Harry Potter sheds his wizard’s cloak in exchange for some horns in this dark fantasy thriller. Horns, based on the novel of the same name by Joe Hill, centres round Radcliffe’s character Ig Perrish.

Finding himself the suspect of a crime, he has to disprove his involvement in his girlfriend’s rape and murder and has some handy magical horns on his head with which to do so.

Here's how he does it.
