Actor Tony Danza's Run In The Musical Adaptation Of Honeymoon In Vegas Is Over - The Show Will Close On Sunday (05apr15).
Producers have announced the musical, based on the 1992 film comedy of the same name, will close after almost five months on Broadway.
While the show was critically acclaimed, it failed to attract theatergoers and suffered from poor box office sales, according to Playbill.com.
Honeymoon in Vegas marked Danza's return to Broadway 13 years after he appeared in a 2001 production of The Producers.
He took on the role of gambler Tommy Korman - James Caan's character in the movie - in 2013, when the musical had a trial run at New Jersey's Paper Mill Playhouse.
The show transferred to Broadway in November (14).
