Turin Brakes, who released their highly acclaimed new album We Were Here through Cooking Vinyl at the end of September, release a new single Guess you Heard on Monday December 2nd.
We Were Here, the bands sixth album, was recorded at Rockfield Studios and engineered and mixed by Ali Staton (Rufus Wainwright / Madonna / Tricky) and produced by Turin Brakes and Ali Staton. The band recently performed at the Raindance Film Festival to mark the international premiere of the independent documentary 'Musicwood.'
As previously announced Turin Brakes will be playing the following shows in the UK during October and November. Tickets for all shows are priced at £20.00.

Formed in Balham, South West London, in 1999 by childhood friends Olly Knights and Gale Paridjanian, Turin Brakes signed to French label Source in 2000 and released their Mercury Music Prize nominated debut album The Optimist (2001). Their second albumEther Song (2003) entered the UK album charts at number 4 and spawned the Top 5 single Pain Killer (Summer Rain). The Top 10 album JackinABox was released in 2005 and followed by Dark On Fire (2007). The band signed to Cooking Vinyl in 2009 and released Outbursts (2010).
