Pero was touring as Portnoy's replacement in Adrenaline Mob when he died after suffering a heart attack on 20 March (15).

Shortly after the drummer's death, his Twisted Sister bandmate Jay Jay French suggested the group was considering calling it quits after 40 years, and now frontman Dee Snider appears to have confirmed news released by TMZ.com on Tuesday (07Apr14), taking to Facebook.com and writing, "It's official: farewell. New drummer announced..."

Reports suggest the final Twisted Sister tour will be dubbed Forty and F**k It.

French and Portnoy joined Adrenaline Mob for a recent tribute show to Pero at the Starland Ballroom in New Jersey and performed Twisted Sister's You Can't Stop Rock 'N' Roll.

Twisted Sister will headline A Concert To Honor AJ Pero at the same venue in June (15).
