The Teen Wolf star is set to play the titular character, who discovers his guardian angel and destiny inside an alternate universe called Dream World.

"The upcoming film is a brief and modest look into the mythology of the Poet Anderson Universe," DeLonge tells The Los Angeles Times. "Meant to be a bit ambiguous and artistic, the plot traces the edge of a girl having recurring dreams of a boy at her school. While the dreams are romantic, fun and adventurous, a real threat exists requiring someone there at all times to protect her."

The former Blink-182 musician previously co-wrote and co-directed last year's (14) Poet Anderson: The Dream Walker, which nabbed the Best Animated Film prize at the Toronto International Short Film Festival.

Man of Steel actor Dylan Sprayberry and soap opera stars Taylor Spreitler and Samantha Logan are starring alongside Posey in the project, slated to be release later this year (15).
