Having self-released a couple of singles around 12 months ago Various Cruelties are now preparing the release of this, their self-titled debut, at the end of April. The weeks leading up to launch day will see the band on the road, culminating in a show at the ULU, London, on May 3.

Various Cruelties' new single, Neon Truth, is the final track on the band's highly anticipated debut album, which is self-titled. The album will be released on April 30th, 2012, through Hideout Recordings, while the single will be released on April 23rd. Various Cruelties are set to embark on a UK tour throughout April, to promote the release of the album.

We caught up with Liam from Various Cruelties at The Cockpit in Leeds on the final night of their UK tour for a quick chat about the band's Tony Hoffer recorded debut album and what's install for 2012. Liam and Adam also performed an acoustic version of their new single Great Unknown.

Various Cruelties' new single, Great Unknown, will be released on January 1st, 2012, through Hideout Recordings. Their self-titled debut album is available to pre-order now and will be released in Spring 2012. It will also feature their debut single, Chemicals, which was released in October 2011. Various Cruelties have announced a small UK tour in January 2012.
