Expendables 3 star Victor Ortiz is hoping to step back into the boxing ring and take on undefeated champion floyd mayweather, Jr. one final time.

Mayweather is now 48-0 in his career following a unanimous decision victory in his match with Marcos Maidana on Saturday night (13Sep14), and prior to the big fight night he announced plans to retire from the ring once he hits 50-0, leaving just two bouts left.

Pundits expect Mayweather, Jr. to take on British boxer Amir Khan in May (14), but his final fight opponent remains a mystery.

And now Ortiz has demanded a rematch with the champ, telling Tmz.com he'll fight for free.

The 27-year-old former WBC Welterweight champ, who took part in the 2014 Nautica Malibu Triathlon this past weekend (13-14Sep14), says, "He owes me a rematch, and it's a free one from me to him... Mayweather, whenever you say, bro... I'm waiting for you."

The two boxers last met in the ring in 2011.
