Methyl Ethel's new single 'Ubu' was written about Ubu Roi, a surrealist play by French writer Alfred Jarry which was originally only shown for one night in 1896. The Perth based trio have also announced details of their new album 'Everything Is Forgotten' which sees the band team up with producer James Ford who's worked on a number of the noughties most acclaimed releases including Acrtic Monkeys 'Favourite Worst Nightmare', Klaxons' 'Myths of the Near Future' and Florence And The Machines' debut 'Lungs'. Ford also produced Methyl Ethel's previous single 'No. 28'.
