Vogue Williams has had a ''tough week''.

The 29-year-old model admitted she has struggled after announcing her split from former Westlife singer Brian McFadden but said their family and friends are helping them get through the break-up.

She said: ''This has been a really tough week for Brian and I.

''The support we've been getting from people online has been amazing.

''Seeing everyone's kind words has really made a difference in this hard time.

''We both have great families and friends that are being really supportive too.''

Despite revealing their decision to split last Tuesday (07.07.15), Vogue - who married the musician in 2012 - insisted they ''remain friends''.

In her column for the Sunday World newspaper, she wrote: ''I don't want to say too much on the subject, but I will say that we really do remain friends and will always be in each others' lives.''

The news of the decision to end their three-year marriage came as a shock last week when the pair posted matching statements on Twitter.

Vogue wrote: ''It is with sadness that Brian and I have made the tough decision to go our separate ways.

''We will always care greatly about each other, remain friends and wish each other all the very best for the future.

''We have nothing else to say on the subject and we would like to thank our friends and family for their support during this difficult period. Vogue x (sic).''
