Rapper Waka Flocka Flame has scrapped an upcoming University of Oklahoma gig over the school's new race controversy.

Footage of members of the university's Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity singing a racist chant in unison appeared online over the weekend (07-08Mar15), prompting school officials to sever "all affiliations" with the student group.

But that hasn't been enough for Flame, who has cancelled a scheduled show on campus.

Announcing his decision on Instagram.com, he writes, "I must say I'm disgusted and disappointed in the actions of the Sae fraternity at University of Oklahoma and I will be canceling my scheduled performance for them next month. Racism is something I will not tolerate.

"I'm all about... white, black and brown people… all races partying having a good time and enjoying themselves together peacefully... We can't change history but we damn sure can create our own future."
