Miley Cyrus & The Flaming Lips Collaborative Video Claims JFK's Brain Contains LSD Formula

Miley Cyrus Flaming Lips Moby Wayne Coyne

Miley Cyrus appears in The Flaming Lips' latest 'music' video and smokes profusely whilst a naked woman meanders around carrying a large blob of jelly and the band plays in a rainbow costume. The video, entitled Blonde SuperFreak Steals the Magic Brain, also features Moby as a cult leader. Unsurprisingly, the video is meant to reference LSD, but you'd have to be on something fairly strong to find it remotely enjoyable viewing.

In one of the more surreal collaborations of recent times, pop star Miley Cyrus has teamed up with The Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne and Steven Drozd for a performance of the latter's hit 'Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots Part 1' during the former's concert. During her Bangerz tour show at LA's Staples Center, Miley welcomed the Oklahoman rockers onstage for a cover collaboration.

Miley Cyrus Welcomed The Flaming Lips Onstage For Another Cover Song.

Considering Miley's demographic is comprised of mostly pre-teens, there's little surprise than fan footage from the event shows almost no one singing along with Coyne and Cyrus but The Flaming Lips were given a warm welcome of manic screams nonetheless. Since footage from the 'Yoshimi' cover hit the internet, reactions have been divided between those who think Miley chose a great song to cover whilst showcasing her impressive voice, and those who feel that even with Wayne and Steven present, a classic song has been butchered.

Good Genes Or Good Ops: Which Male Celebrities Don't Show Their Age?

Anthony Kiedis David Beckham Tom Cruise Jim Carrey George Clooney Eddie Murphy Wayne Coyne Colin Firth Antonio Banderas Bono Kevin Spacey Prince Donny Osmond Tom Hanks Christoph Waltz Anthony Bourdain Bruce Willis Jeff Daniels Rowan Atkinson Chris Noth Denzel Washington Liam Neeson Jeff Goldblum Bruce Springsteen Lionel Richie Jeff Bridges Samuel L Jackson Jeremy Irons David Letterman Ted Danson Harrison Ford Amitabh Bachchan Morgan Freeman Dustin Hoffman Dick Van Dyke Roger Moore Rolling Stones

We've all had that moment; looking at photos of our favourite celebs and then jumping out of our seats screaming, 'He's HOW old?!' Well, we've been doing a lot of that here at ContactMusic. Some stars seem to have crept up the age ladder pretty sneakily, the odd wrinkle and grey hair barely registering on our radar, while others don't seem to have aged at all! English football player David Beckham was in his twenties when he rose to global popularity and, looking at his recent H&M underwear advert, it seems that his iconic hairstyles and tattoos are our only way of working out the old from the newer pictures of him. However, he is only 37 and has plenty of time to catch up yet. It's the over-50s that have really had our mouths agape in recent times as we've been scouring the net for the most youthful looking middle to old aged stars.

Ke$ha Had Sexual Experience With A Ghost?

Kesha Black Keys Flaming Lips Wayne Coyne

Kesha claims she once had a sexual experience with a ghost. The 25-year-old pop star was speaking on KIIS FM about the inspiration and ideas behind her spooky new song ‘Supernatural’.

The single is the second to be taken from Kesha’s new album ‘Warrior,’ which is packed full of electro-rock and dance-pop themes. As for the writing of ‘Supernatural,’ the singer explained, “It's about experiences with the supernatural…but in a sexy way. I had a couple of experiences with the supernatural. I don't know his name! He was a ghost! I'm very open to it.” It seems as though the entire record was inspired by similar oddities, and Kesha added, “The theme of this record is magic. I went on a spirit journey by myself. No security guard. No managers. I just went around the world and lived on a boat.” Kesha’s Tik Tok single catapulted the Californian to fame in 2009, gaining generally mixed reviews, though selling millions. To be fair, she’s enlisted a pretty impressive team for the new record, with The Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney and The Flaming LipsWayne Coyne lending a hand, as well as rock stalwart Iggy Pop.

‘Warrior’ – the follow-up the Kesha’s 2010 debut LP ‘Animal’ – will be released on December 3, 2012.
