Filmmaker Wes Anderson has been tapped to design a bar inside Prada's new art space in Milan, Italy.

The Grand Budapest Hotel director created the layout and look for the bar inside the Italian luxury fashion house's Fondazione Prada, the brand's permanent art gallery, which will house contemporary art.

The look of the bar is inspired by classic Italian cafes.

This isn't Anderson's first time collaborating with the fashion house - he previously made a short film called Castello Cavalcanti, starring Jason Schwartzman as a race car driver, and created an ad campaign for their Candy L'Eau fragrance with Roman Coppola.

The Fondazione Prada will open on 8 May (15) with the screening of a series of films focused on the inspirations behind director Roman Polanski's films.
