Omi Has Ended Wiz Khalifa's Record-tying Run At The Top Of The U.s. Pop Charts After Reaching Number One With Cheerleader.
The rap star's See You Again spent 12 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 and was a week away from making history as the first hip-hop track to lead the countdown for 13 weeks.
But OMI's reggae tune has jumped up a spot to number one in the first Hot 100 compiled on a Monday, becoming the chart's 1,044th number one, according to Billboard.com.
Khalifa's See You Again drops to two, while The Weeknd's Can't Feel My Face rounds out the new top three.
