Woody Allen may be famed for his scriptwriting and directing, but he’s also passionate about playing jazz clarinet (not to be mistaken with jazz flute - he isn’t Ron Burgandy!) and often plays at a small jazz club in New York City as well as the Carlyle Hotel.

Richard Gere wasn’t faking those cornet playing scenes in The Cotton Club back in the 80s! Gere is also a pianist and singer on top, if you fancy listening to his dulcet tones, give the movie Chicago a watch to see Gere starring as the singing lawyer, Billy Flynn.

Johnny Depp is a super skilled guitarist, who even featured on Oasis' 1997 hit song Fade In-Out.  He also plays the acoustic guitar and has played onscreen in his movie Chocolat as well for the soundtrack to Once Upon a Time In Mexico.
