Take a break from skiing to catch some spectacular sounds from South Lake Tahoe's SnowGlobe Music Festival.
This summer may have been a great season for festivals everywhere, but SnowGlobe Music Festival 2013 proves that you don't need warm weather to have a sensational musical experience.
The beautiful city of South Lake Tahoe, California presents another end of year celebration from December 29th - 31st complete with its famous clear blue lake and snow-capped mountains as the back drop to one of the last musical events of 2013. Recently confirmed as headliners are Dutch electronic artist Tiesto and Chicago DJ Kaskade as well as hip hop legend Snoop Dogg who is currently performing under the name Snoop Lion as he embarks on a more reggae based music career. Moombahcore pioneer Dillon Francis will also make an appearance at the event, ahead of the release of his debut studio album, as well as Canadian duo Zeds Dead and Atlanta producer Treasure Fingers. There's more to come, however, as a new headliner will be unveiled on November 3rd 2013.
David Guetta, Fatboy Slim and Swedish House Mafia are pictured at the final weekend of Miami's Ultra Music Festival.
Swedish House Mafia at Ultra Musical Festival, Miami
America's favourite EDM fest The Ultra Music Festival have rounded off their last weekend with an impressive line-up.
We expected nothing less than exhilarating, flawless electronic finery from Ultra's uber exciting 2013 2-weekend line-up and neither weekend's artists held back at all as they hit Miami's Bayfront Park full of enthusiasm. Weekend 2's line-up saw a sting of disc jockey legends including double Grammy winner David Guetta, DJ royalty Fatboy Slim, the more recent chart sensation Deadmau5 and the Gold-selling Calvin Harris. Other attendees included Afrojack, who recently remixed Psy's YouTube hit 'Gangnam Style', Dutch sensation Armin Van Buuren, Italian DJ Benni Benassi and out latest electronic music heroes Zeds Dead. Snoop Lion (aka Snoop Dogg) became the highlight of weekend 1, however, and he probably felt right at home having collaborated with many artists on the bill.
