ZZ Top have scrapped another two dates on their Hell Raisers Tour to allow bassist Dusty Hill time to recover from a backstage injury.
The rockers pulled the plug on a show in Lubbock, Texas on Thursday night (14Apr16) after Hill dislocated his shoulder in a fall just before showtime.
He was hospitalised for treatment and now he and his bandmates have decided to axe concerts in Oklahoma on Friday (15Apr16) and at the Chilifest in Snook, Texas on Saturday (16Apr16).
The band will be hoping that Hill's latest injury won't cost them another major tour after announcing plans to hit the road with Gregg Allman later this year (16). They had to cancel a 2014 after the bassist fell on a tour bus and seriously injured his hip. In 1984 Hill also shot himself in the stomach.
