Tightrope daredevil Nik Wallenda has become the first person to ever walk across the Niagara Falls.
The stuntman accomplished the feat on Friday (15Jun12) after making his way 1,800 feet (548 metres) across the brink of the famous falls over the U.S. and Canadian border.
Wallenda told reporters he managed the historic walk with concentration, training and "a lot of praying" - and revealed he's already making plans for his next stunt.
He says, "I have permits to be the first person in the world to walk across the Grand Canyon so that's a process we'll start working on. I'd say within three to five years I'll accomplish that as well."
Bosses at ABC, who televised the spectacle, ordered Wallenda to use a safety tether to save him in case of a fall.
