Fact: New Kids On The Block turned house band on Tuesday (20Jan15) as they took up residence at the ABC studios of U.S. morning show Live! With Kelly And Michael. The pop stars opened and closed the show with musical performances and entertained the studio audience during commercial breaks to promote their upcoming summer tour, The Main Event, with R&B group TLC and rapper Nelly.

Fact: Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonneville has turned bad for hit new U.S. musical series Galavant - the Brit will play a pirate king in a new episode of the ABC show, which will air on Sunday (11Jan15).

Fact: Comedienne ROSIE O'DONNELL has officially been announced as a new co-host of U.S. talk show The View. The actress originally joined the daytime programme in 2006, but walked away from the project in May, 2007 after just one season as a panellist. However, she will be back for the new run of shows this autumn (14) following the departure of Jenny MCCarthy and Sherri Shepherd. Confirming the news in a Twitter.com post on Thursday (10Jul14), bosses at U.S. network ABC write, "It's official! Abc confirms Rosie O'Donnell returns as co-host of #TheView w/ (with) moderator Whoopi Goldberg for Season 18".

Fact: The Help star Viola Davis is heading back to Tv to star in a new legal thriller. The actress will lead the cast in How To Get Away With Murder as a criminal defence professor who becomes embroiled in a murder plot. The series, co-produced by Scandal's Shonda Rhimes, will air on America's ABC network. Davis previously had a recurring role on crime drama Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and comedy series United States of Tara.
