Rockers AC DC face a fight with animal rights activists in Austria in the New Year (10) - if their planned Wels Airport show goes ahead.
Animal lovers and conservationists have threatened to take legal action if the 22 May (10) gig goes ahead - because it will threaten colonies of nesting rare birds.
Hans Uhl of NGO BirdLife tells the Austrian Times, "The second-biggest colony of curlews in Upper Austria and various other ground-nesting birds must not become endangered by organisers’ plans."
Uhl insists the concert will cause a "disaster" among the breeding colonies, which flock to the area.
The conservationists have urged the band to reschedule the show later in the summer (10) - when it will no longer be a threat to the birds.
