After months of rumors, speculation and a whole lot of nothing from Jj Abrams’s we were admittedly taken aback when the Star Wars Episode VII cast was officially unveiled yesterday. Alongside original stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker, Star Wars Episode VII will add seven new faces to the franchise. John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow have all been announced as joining the Star Wars cast, but sadly that’s where news ends as we don’t yet know who any of these actors will be playing. Then there’s Oscar Issac, the 35 year old actor best known for Inside Llewyn Davis, was the last and ultimately correct casting rumour. Character actor Oscar is one who has definitely got us stumped, really he could turn his hand to any type of character, wether it be hero or villain. It will surely be interesting to see which role Issac is eventually announced in.
