Craig, 78, who passed away on Monday (17Aug15) following a battle with cancer, was best known for playing Batgirl opposite West as the Caped Crusader in the popular 1960s TV series and her passing sparked an outpouring of grief from friends and fans.

West has now spoken out to remember his late friend and colleague, writing in a post on Twitter.com, "I was deeply saddened for us to lose Yvonne. It was too soon. She was a joy to work with. We will miss her."
