In a radio interview on Tuesday, Mars said he was initially put off by Adele's attitude when they worked together for 'All I Ask'.
Nearing the end of a massively successful and lucrative tour supporting a similarly massive and lucrative album, Adele has the whole world in the palm of her hand at the moment.
However, one person didn’t quite think she was all she was cracked up to be – at least on first impression. Bruno Mars recalled that, when he worked with her while co-writing the song ‘All I Ask’ for her album 25, she was a “diva” – and not in a good way!

The winners were announced in London yesterday.
The 61st Ivor Novello Awards took place yesterday (May 19th 2016) in London and honoured several classic and contemporary artists from Adele to Simple Minds. It's a ceremony to celebrate songwriting and composing, as opposed to performance, and is sponsored by the copyright company PRS for Music Limited. Once again, it is presented by the British Academy Of Songwriters Composers & Authors (BASCA).
Simple Minds won Outstanding Song Collection
Unsurprisingly, Adele landed Songwriter of the Year after the success of '25' and her hit single 'Hello'. James Bay was another predictable success, the PRS Most Performed Work awarded for his UK number two single 'Hold Back The River'. Ed Sheeran's protege Jamie Lawson won Best Song Musically and Lyrically for 'Wasn't Expecting That', beating Sheeran himself whose track 'Bloodstream' with Rudimental was also up for nomination.

'25' sold more than Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Sam Smith put together in 2015 - despite only being on sale for the last five weeks of the year!
Confirming what we essentially already knew, Adele’s global domination is total, with the news that her latest album 25 outsold the rest of the top five bestsellers around the world put together in 2015.
The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), a global body representing the music industry, reports that her long-awaited third album sold 17.4 million units in 2015, despite only coming out in late November. As a result, the organisation concludes that Adele has helped to reverse “two decades of almost uninterrupted decline” in the music business.

The list features 300 people in 10 categories, ranging from the arts to technology.
Musicians Hozier and Adele and Star Wars: The Force Awakens actor John Boyega are among those named by Forbes magazine in their first ever list of the 30 most influential Europeans under 30. The magazine selected 30 people from 10 different categories to make up the lists, which were complied by a panel of experts in each particular field.
Hozier has been named one of Forbes 30 most influential Europeans under 30.
"Researching, vetting and launching our first ever 30 Under 30 Europe list was an incredible task," said Randall Lane, editor of Forbes. "We scoured the continent to find the most talented millennials and, with the help of our expert judges, are proud to honour 300 of the most important young entrepreneurs, creative leaders and brightest stars in Europe right now.”
The 'QI' host ran the rule over a selection of hit singles from 2015, and wasn't particularly impressed by most of it.
Stephen Fry has condemned the state of modern pop music in a new interview, claiming Little Mix to be “horrible” and “toxic” before saying that he’s “not interested” in the state of the pop charts in 2015.
The popular broadcaster and comic actor reviewed a selection of singles released by various artists in 2015 for BBC’s Newsbeat. However, it turns out that Fry isn’t that clued-up on modern pop music, claiming to have “heard of” Adele but very little else.
He saved his most savage criticisms for Little Mix, the 2011 winners of ‘The X Factor’, reacting to their recent single ‘Love Me Like You’ by calling it “horrible! It's just bubblegum pop,” he added.
Sometimes artists wear their influences on their sleeves.
Adele's new song 'Hello' has had the internet going crazy these past few weeks; people are excited for the release of her upcoming comeback album '25' and thus have this across-the-board number one on repeat. However, as with a lot of hit tracks, it hasn't been without its criticism and in this case people are commenting on the remarkable similarity to a Californian storyteller we all know and love.
Adele waves 'Hello' to Tom Waits with new single
The Tom Waits comparison has, in itself, been critized; but whatever people say, the fact can't be ignored that the lyrics to 'Hello' do bare remarkable parallels with Waits' 1973 song 'Martha'. Both dictate a phonecall to a long lost lover, reminiscing about their early days and reflecting on their young, foolish selves. It's not exactly a copy, merely a divine inspiration.

You know how it is - a few drinks, and you want to set the world to rights in messages of 140 characters.
She’s probably the most powerful woman in pop music at the moment, with her third album just a fortnight away from release, but Adele has hilariously revealed that she’s not allowed to send her own tweets because she used to post on Twitter while drunk.
The 27 year old superstar has over 24 million followers on the social networking site, but admitted that everything she wants to tweet now has to be checked over by two people from her management company and “signed off”, after she nearly landed herself in hot water in the past by tweeting after a few drinks. We’ve all been there.

RiRi hasn't released a new album for three years
Rihanna hasn’t released an album for three years and rumours are beginning to circulate that the reason it won’t hit shelves this year is Adele and her own surprise third album. The Bajan star was due to release her eighth album in 2014 but instead extended the promotion of her seventh album.

Adele has been accused of ripping off Wait’s 1973 track ‘Martha’ with her smash hit ‘Hello’.
Adele might be enjoying massive success with her comeback single ‘Hello’, but fans of American singer Tom Waits have accused her of ‘ripping off’ his 1973 track ‘Martha’. Waits fans have been pointing out the similarities between the two songs on social media, as both are based on a similar theme.
Did Adele ‘rip off’ Tom Waits for ‘Hello’?
‘Martha’ begins with the lyrics: 'Hello, hello there, is this Martha? This is old Tom Frost / And I am calling long distance, don't worry 'bout the cost / 'Cause it's been forty years or more, now Martha please recall / Meet me out for coffee, where we'll talk about it all.’

Sheeran's record label anticipate the follow-up to 'X' arriving within the next 12 months, but the star himself is slightly wary.
The British singer-songwriter, still enjoying huge success with his second record X, released 16 months ago, has announced that his record label is weighing up the possibility of a September 2016 release date for the next one. However, Sheeran himself is sceptical as it would mean competing with arguably the biggest star in the world.
“Adele is releasing her album in the same Grammy category,” the megastar told Billboard about the prospect release date of a new record. “I don't know if I'm brave enough to go up against her.”

She revealed all the details as 'Hello' was given its first airplay on Radio 1 on Friday morning.

'Writing's On The Wall' got its first airplay on Friday morning, but the reaction has been decidedly mixed.
Sam Smith’s eagerly anticipated theme tune to the new Bond movie Spectre has been splitting opinions since it was unveiled earlier this morning. ‘Writing’s On The Wall’ was unveiled on BBC Radio 1’s breakfast show on Friday (September 25th) and was uploaded to Spotify at the same time.
A four-and-a-half minute track of pretty classical construction, it sees Smith cover pretty much his full vocal range and is set to sweeping, widescreen orchestral music. While it is distinctive, some listeners have reacted negatively, with one Twitter user calling it the “worst Bond theme ever”. Surely not, as anybody with ears will recall Madonna’s risible ‘Die Another Day’…

Why is the revamped ‘X-Factor’ just not bringing in the viewers this year?
The ‘X-Factor’ has enjoyed a slight ratings boost in its third week of series 12, with 7.55 million viewers tuning into ITV on Saturday evening. However the numbers are still significantly lower than last year's and the show is yet to go had-to-head with BBC One’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, which begins in two weeks.
Ratings for the ‘X-Factor’ have been low this series despite a new judging panel.
According to The Mirror, 7.55 million watched the show live on ITV at 8pm, and then a further 359,000 caught the episode on the ITV+1 channel. However this time last year the show was pulling in 8.43 million on ITV and a further 441,000 viewers an hour later.

Sam Smith has dropped a pretty powerful hint that he’s recorded the theme tune to the forthcoming Bond movie Spectre. The British singer, one of the best-selling artists around the world last year, posted a picture of his hand bearing a plain silver band embossed with the ‘Spectre’ octopus symbol.
The 23 year old has been one of the most prominent names bandied about in the rumours about who’ll get the honour of recorded the theme song to the 24th Bond movie, which is being released in cinemas on October 26th. However, fellow Brit Ellie Goulding had been the bookies’ favourite until this revelation.

The British singer’s long-awaited third album is due for release in November.
Adele might be getting ready to drop her third album later this year, but don’t expect the singer to be hitting the road anytime soon. According to the Sunday People, the Grammy winner will say no to an £80 million pay day to tour her new album, because she doesn’t want to take her three-year old son on the road.
Adele is expected not to tour her new album.
The Sunday People reports that the singer has had a string of big money offers from concert organisers but she is yet to agree to any gigs at all in 2016, instead hinting that she wants to stay at home with her family.
Two of the most anticipated album releases of 2015 could finally be on the way.
New reports indicate that eagerly awaited albums by Adele and Coldplay are set to be released in the autumn, with both being labelled “Must-Hear Fall Albums” on the new front cover of Rolling Stone magazine.
The latest issue of the rock monthly suggests that both albums will drop before 2015 is out. Adele’s 21, the fourth-biggest selling album in British chart history as well as a multi-platinum chart buster around the world, was released back in 2011. Its follow-up – which will continue the age theme and be titled 25, according to the most recent reports – has been shrouded in secrecy. But Billboard reports that her record label, XL, is gearing up for a November release.

Sony pulled a number of its artists’ original music from the Swedish site on Thursday (May 7th), including Hozier, MR MS, Miguel, Passion Pit and Kelly Clarkson in addition to Adele. At the time of writing, they have not put them back, and more labels and artists are believed to be considering the same course of action.

Take a look at the artists that could be the next ones to release a new album unexpectedly.
Surprise albums are all the rage, and it’s easy to understand why. They make sense for both fans and artists, and there’s hardly any downside to just throwing your highly anticipated album up for download on a random Saturday night with nothing else going on around the Internet. It practically sells itself at that point.
Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly saw an early release
Take a look at Kendrick Lamar: his new record, To Pimp A Butterfly, wasn’t even technically a surprise, as it was just allegedly “accidentally” released early on iTunes before its release. It still yielded the same results as a complete surprise album would, and it smashed a ton of streaming records like the 9.6 million number that was achieved via Spotify listens. The record-holder before that was, of course, none other than Drake’s surprise mixtape, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. You can see the trend here.

Adele is still happily in a relationship
The 'Rolling in the Deep' and 'Someone Like You' singer took to Twitter on Sunday (Dec 28th) to blast an article in the tabloid The Sun that reported she and Konecki, who share a 2-year-old son, Angelo, have been living apart for some time, which sparked break-up rumours.

Harry turned up bright and early ahead of his One Direction bandmates
Fans waited outside the recording studio in Notting Hill all morning to catch a glimpse of their favourite artists, with One Direction’s Harry Styles among the first to arrive.
Despite a cryptic tweet earlier this year, the British singer will not be releasing any new material until 2015.
Fans of Adele will be left hugely disappointed that the British singer has no plans to release a follow-up to 2011's '21,' which sold more than 25 million copies around the world, this year and will have to wait at least until 2015.
Fans are still waiting for Adele to release a new album
Speculation of a third studio album being released in 2014 began when Adele turned 26 years-old in May. The multi-platinum singer tweeted, "Bye bye 25... See you again later in the year," and since her previous top two selling albums, '19' (2008) and '21' (2011), were titled in accordance to her age when she recording the songs, it was assumed 25 would be the title of her next record.
